About Me
I've always challenged myself with new things
whether it be in service, programming, engineering or leadership. This is how I learn.
I always had a passion for learning, challenging myself and gaining a greater understanding of the world. I love adventure whether it be hiking, kayaking, biking or even learning a new language. At a young age I started a YouTube channel that taught history. I participated in academic decathalons and Model United Nations conferences. Science also drove me to learn more about the universe we live in.
I built my first web app called The Digital Times in Meteor JS. It was a website very similar to Medium where users can publish articles; the only difference is that it had better language support and was focused more on news rather than opinion. Since then I've worked on many web and mobile applications in Javascript, AngularJS, Ionic, Firebase, MongoDB, etc. The most recent app I built is called BIRDIE!
I participated in the Google Science Fair of 2013 by creating a sink that recycles water. I built autonomous robots on the Raspberry Pi and Arduino at the Army Research Lab in Adelpi and the University of Maryland in College Park. I programmed the Pi in Python and C.
